Coreopsis tripteris is a plant species of the genus Coreopsis in Asteraceae. Coreopsis species are commonly called tickseeds. This species is one of the tallest growing coreopsis and plants bloom late summer into fall. Native from Eastern and Central Untied States, were it's found growing in open woods and prairies. This species is also grown in gardens.
